What a Great Plan

What a world we live in, one that seems to be surrounded with the idea of making a plan. Since your birth there has always been a plan for your life. Firstly there is the plan your parents make for you, and then you reach an age that you started making plans for yourself. There always seems to be a plan, and when the plan does not manifest itself we worry and become concern. Planning seems to be ingrained in our DNA like a virus that takes over.

My question is that what is the purpose of your plan? What are you fulfilling with all you’re planning? There must be an ultimate end to this planning, there must be a divine eternal ending we are all striving to reach. At the end of the day there is only one plan that matters, the plan of the creator for his creation, the fulfilment of the words spoken in the beginning. Once you have Christ living in you through the Holy Spirit then there is a release of purpose on your life, a release that at most time never takes away from your plans but elevates your plans to the bigger picture.

For all thing will come under the authority of Christ, and the joy of life is not knowing the intricate details but enjoying the journey with joy and peace. So the only plan you should have is to Be joyful, plan to be at peace, plan to live in the full joy of the Lord, plan to be a servant, and plan to love the Lord. And let the Holy Spirit handle the complication that the devil might throw your way. Knowing your purpose shouldn’t bring you down, but should put you at peace, knowing the plans for your life no matter how great should leave you at peace for not by your power or might shall it be done.

Have you thought about it, what a great deal we have, we get to enjoy the journey of watching how the Spirit is about to bring all thing under the feet of Christ, how we get to watch the glory of the Lamb fill the earth. What a perfect view we have, and even more amazing is that fact that we are part of that plan, he uses us to fulfil his plan.

Identity

The bible says in Job 12:13
“But true wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his.” True wisdom is the understanding of self, self not in the worldly perspective, for the bible also says 1 Corinthians 3:19
”For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God.” For the identity of humanity has been swayed since the fall, humanity only had one perspective to think of self. When God cursed Adam and Eve, humanity had an alternative perspective of themselves, and since that moment they have not seen themselves in the same light as God sees them. Every man or woman that was used by God after the fall were unique in the method each was used, but all similar in one aspect, their perspective of self in God. In my personal opinion, one of the great moments of history is found in Exodus 3:6 when God states his name
”I am”. What a statement that echo’s eternity, what statement of truth and also a statement of perfect identity. God spoke in such a way that does not allow form of; confusion, misinterpretation, argument, or any negative thought to question his identity. I AM GOD, I AM everything that is and is to come, I AM the beginning and the end, I AM GOD indifferent and never changing, his authority has and will never be questioned.

It always amazed me that God is all and he is AWARE of who he is, his confidence is in himself because his capabilities are aware to him, his knowledge are aware to him and his wisdom are also aware. His awareness of himself gives no ground for anything else but the truth I AM GOD. In this truth we were made, the amazing thing is that man was made after the fall of the devil in heaven but wasn’t affected by those events, in the aspect that man was still made in the image of the I AM. Lets be frank the bible says in Genesis 1:26 “Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us.” We are created not just in the very image of God but in his likeness as well. There is a resemblance between man and God that causes man to have a confidence that surpasses themselves.

When one is saved and brought from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light something amazing happens, the perception of self changes. The curse that allowed man to see himself less than God, the curse that allowed man to lose its identity is removed, and the original plan of man to be one with God, not just in image, but also in a commune in likeness is inserted. Once an individual has been inserted into the kingdom of God then their identity changes completely, the fullness of God becomes them. Walking in that identity is critical in a world that has lost its identity because once the animals, plants and people see this identity it makes a yearning in the hearts of all for this identity. How insects are attracted to light is how the whole host in heaven and on earth shall be attracted to the light beaming inside of you.

At the end of the day the decision is yours, for to be effective in winning souls for the kingdom, your identity in Christ must be certain. CHIRST IN YOU THE HOPE OF GLORY. No one on earth and below should ever make you think otherwise. So I have this question to ask, WHO ARE YOU? I AM TAIWO SAMUEL IDOWU.

Everywhere in the bible one finds a interesting connection between the words; understanding, wisdom and knowledge. The question states ‘why is understanding’, I believe understanding ones identity is a piece to the puzzle. Proverbs 2:6 best provides a complete look at the mind of God when it states “For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Understanding your identity in Christ does not come until the wisdom is given from the Lord through his word, and he through the Holy Spirit brings knowledge and understanding from the rema word of God. First God gives you wisdom, the encouragement of reading the very word of God and believe every promise in it if for you and your family, believing that the promises of Abraham are still in play to today. When this wisdom is given, the father then through the Holy Spirit brings revelation to the promise and highlights specific promises for you, which is the creation of one personal identity, a identity build on the foundation of the wisdom of God but constructed on the knowledge and understanding of God. We are all similar but all so different.

Dear Children of God

I hope this letter gets to you in time, I have heard of your great works and your great exploits. Hope this letter gets to you with the love and hope it has been written, not one that has been structured or manipulated but the Love and hope that can only be found in the one that was the definition of selfless perfect sacrifice. In him I have the confidence and the hope to continue.

I encourage you to stop running away from every trail and tribulation that comes your way, it is been used to Glorify, Direct, and Modify you to become more like the one that saved you from the life of death. I encourage you to hold on to the foundation that is stronger than any situation and trail you can ever go through. For the plans he has for you are great in every way or form, for as he is greater than everything in and under the heaven, so are his plans for you.

Times in the world will not get better, for we have reached a time that all the foundation that the world has building and constructed their homes on are no more strong enough to hold. For the Lord, your father is shaking the whole earth, and there is only foundation that will not be shaken HIS. So I encourage to stand, but stand strong in the Lord in every way let him be your everything, have a totally reliance on the Holy Spirit the guider in a time like this. For it is time to rejoice not a time to weep, it is a time to sing praises not a time to worry.

I will continue to pray for you, as I hear of your persecution in the Lord, for we all are being persecuted for proclaiming the Lordship of Christ, it encourages me to know and see that the devil will always fear the name that he push to kill, but by doing so has redeemed the whole earth to her rightful position in and with Christ. So may the Lord Jesus Christ continue to strengthen you, and may you know that your brothers and sisters are praying and crying on your behalves to our father.

So may the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit be with you. And may this hope and love in him continue to be shared out through these dark times the world shall be experiencing. For there is only one Kingdom that will survive this one, and it is the KINGDOM OF GOD.

Planting, Watering, and Harvesting

I believe that every individual (as non-Christians) we come in contact with are in three particular stage, and understanding this might equip us in understanding the process of wining souls for the kingdom of God.

The first stage would be planting the seed. There are individuals that come in our path that our purpose for their life is to plant the world of God into their life, in for of wither the very word of God, a prayer, a word of encouragement, our testimony, and many other ways that the Holy Spirit uses to plant the seed into their life.

The second stage would be the individuals that the seed has already been planted into their lives and our purpose is to water the seed, this is the stage in which we usually do not notice as it is an inside job. We just continue to speak the word of God to the person, either in a form of prayer, a word of encouragement, our testimony, and many other ways that the Holy Spirit might use us to water the seed in their heart.

The final stage is the stage we as believer notice as we see the individual making the decision to enter the kingdom of God and we invite them in the process of accepting Christ as their Lord and Savior.

It seems so simple, but we need to understand everything is a process in which God makes himself know to the individual on a personal base, as we ourselves were saved when Christ made himself known to us. We never know what Christ is doing in a individual so all we can do is follow the instructions of the Holy Spirit to identify where the individual is in the process.

But everyone is somewhere in this process, and identifying where will give you a advanced understanding of what Christ is doing.

Planting, Watering, and Harvesting

It is time to REJOICE………..

It is funny I was just thinking of a personal situation, and in my excitement and joy in seeing; how God is uniting his church, the anticipation of the royal wedding, and the bride getting ready the holy spirit started speaking to me. This joy is one that I cannot describe with words, but then the Holy Spirit asked me a question, “Now imagine how excited Jesus is.”

So I was just wondering how Christ feel, knowing that his father is preparing him a bride worth inviting to join the trinity, to become one with him. The excitement knowing that this unity is one that will never end, and he will be our husband and us his wife. We are excited of Jesus coming, but I can imagine his excitement in heaven knowing that his perfect bride is preparing herself for him.
What a joy, what an excitement.

This is not a time to be sad, this is not a time to feel defeated, this is not a time to feel weak, neither is this a time to feel lost. This is a time to REJOICE, REJOICE, REJOICE, REJOICE, REJOICE, as your father in Heaven is rejoicing. Do you know why the angels watch us, it is because the bride of God is preparing herself. What a sight to see, the one that will be marring the holy one of Israel. I feel so blessed to be called a child of God, and part of the bride of Christ.

Psalm 37:23
Rejoice for “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.”

Unity……….

There was an event that took place at our church, that showed me something that I never thought I would see or lets say hear. It was in a place of worship, where children of God came together to Worship their father for who he is was where I heard a voice.

Psalm 133:1
A song of ascents. Of David. How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!

John 17:23
I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

Unity is a concept that seems so foreign in our generation, but the father wants all part of the body to be unifies together as the trinity is unified together. And i came to a brief understanding what happens when the body of Christ unifies together, while we were worshiping with different parts of the body all over Cardiff the Holy Spirit told me to stop singing and to just listen to what was being song. And when he said that the musicians stopped singing as well and it was just the body of Christ, and instead of hearing 100 plus voices all I heard was just one. And the one sounded like a woman singing to her husband.

At the moment it came to me that when the body comes together to worship and praise God its sounds like one unified voice, the voice of the bride expressing her love for her groom. What am amazing time that was or me and what a push to hear that more often. It is time for the body of Christ to unity for by our self we can only accomplish so much but together the sky is the limit.

John 3:29
The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete.

LET’S START CLEANING …………..

My mother is the most amazing woman in the world; I don’t think I have told her this enough. There was always something that happened in our house when we had visitors coming over. Our house was always clean and anything below that wasn’t accepted, but when there was a guest it went to another level. Everything had to look perfect; I mean you must have been able to see your reflection on the floor.

I have received a different perception of my commission as a Christian. As my mother would go out of her way for our house to look perfect for our guests (wouldn’t stay forever), I have the same commission on this earth.

Isaiah 40: 3

“Prepare the way of the LORD; Make straight in the desert, a highway for our God.”

There is a truth that I know which is Jesus is coming soon. The day hour and minute I do not know, so what can I do while I am waiting for him? Jesus is not just a guest coming; he is special guest, a permanent guest, the everlasting God, and most importantly the Bridegroom for his church.

So what can I do while wait? I can prepare the way by cleaning up.

What can I do to clean up? Help the homeless, the broken hearted, the widows, homosexuals, transsexuals, drug addicts, and anything that is not holy and pleasant in the eyes of God. It is time that we stop sitting and waiting for someone to do something; stop waiting for your leaders or your friends. I encourage you to be the first to step out and clean up the streets preparing for your father’s arrival.

Isaiah 61:1 says “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me.” Can I say that Spirit of the Lord is upon each and every one of you who have received Jesus as your Lord and savior and have been baptized in water and fire. So there are no excuses, not ANYMORE. The dirty dishes have been stacking up, the floor has not been swept or mopped, dirty clothes are everywhere, the guest room is a mess, but the KING OF KINGS is on his way.

So pick up the word of God and with the help of the Spirit

To be or not to be………

“To be or not to be: that is the question”. From Shakespeare’s Hamlet, these are the words that have been in my spirit for the past week. We heard a word on Sunday about just being, and always being in the peace of God in everything we do. I would advise everyone to read this extract from Hamlet that I provided below:

To be or not to be is a question that no one can answer for you, but one must examine themselves and ask will I be everything Christ wants me to be? Live in his fullness and have an understanding that all of him is in me? Or will choose not to be that and continue my life is a mysterious halo thinking or waiting for something divine to happen when it already happened.

Colossians explains it perfectly IN VERSE 6; “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives IN him, 7 rooted and built up IN him, strengthened IN the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
And verse 9; “For IN Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, 10 and IN Christ you have been brought to fullness.”

Children of God, you are not the problem but the ANSWER the world is waiting for. Reveal yourself to the world by just having an understanding, a simple understanding that if you life by the Spirit of the Most High then you overflow with LIFE.

I choose TO BE like Christ, and the only way that will happen if for Christ (through the spirit) to BE me. I choose NOT TO BE weak, I choose NOT TO BE sick, I choose NOT TO BE looked as normal, I choose NOT TO BE any less than Christ in every aspect of my life.

If there is a time that the world needs Christ it is NOW, so rise from your slumber and awaken to the fullness in which you are called to be.

Nothing else but Christ is what I am settling for, what about you?

Destination

1 King 19: 3-9

I was told to read this story because of a place in my life I am currently in and God opened my eyes to see something here I have never seen before, and decided to share it with you guys. Hope you are blessed and equipped:).

Elijah was running away after being used by God in such a mighty way, it just surprised me how a man like that was scared by a man who made a oath with himself. It is funny that is all aspect of Elijah in display of power , wisdom , understand, and prophetic words there was still a aspect of his life that still needed to be addressed.

This story is such a powerful illustration of how many Christians live their life’s and such epic display of what is called God Grace. The man that was used by God to bring fire from heaven was running away not from Man but from HIMSELF. In God there is Freedom, liberty, Peace, Love, Joy, Kindness, and many many more aspects of who God is but fear is not one of them. In GOD YOU STAND AND YOUR ENEMY FALLS. So Elijah was not running from God or Jezebel but from himself.

Kings 19: 4 Elijah did something that was so profound and it demonstrates what it means to live a life of Christ. When Elijah said” Take My Life”, this was the moment of liberation and freedom. In those three words he stopped running from himself, and died to himself, anything that was associated with him died in the uttering of those words. He understood a powerful revelation, that living without Christ is not worth living at all.

After such a powerful statement, something prophetic happened instantly, the bible says Elijah feel asleep. Sleeping in the bible also means death, he died to everything that was himself, and instantly “all at once” an angel woke him up (like the resurrection of Christ) and offered him “clay of bread” and “jar of water” which are the “bread of life”, and “the holy spirit”. The Holy Spirit that breaths life, for the bible says in 2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty,” and the bread of life which is Christ was given to him. He was instantly filled with the life and spirit of Christ.

What a revelation of dieing to self and living a life full of Christ in the Holy Spirit. Brother and sisters let us learn such a lesson today, life by itself is not worth living, life that is subjected to yourself is going to lead to death, but life that is inserted with Christ through the Holy Spirit leads to life more abundantly. So let us open our hearts to the Holy Spirit and show us what we need to die to so we can life a life that manifest the fullness of Christ.

If you continue reading 1 King 19 you find that Elijah was not just awaken just once but twice to eat of the bread of life and drink of the spirit of God. He would wake up overflowing in every aspect of his life. When he died he received such the most important blessing from Heaven anyone could ever have, Christ not just in his fullness, but overflowing in every aspect of his life. And he walked for 40 days in the wilderness without water or food until he reached his destination.

Our destination is Heaven and we will reach our destination in the fullness of Christ overflowing in him, that is a life we are called to life everyday. So let us search our hearts and ask ourself, ‘what do I have to die to today?” Act 17 says that “You must die” and in death you LIVE.
